You gotta walk into the market and go straight to the back of the store, restaurant is all the way in the back of the market. They have a decent amount of seating and the service is always friendly and fast! I hella recommend the queso birria tacos! Everything is home made, salsa home made, meat is tasty and delicious! Super flavorful! Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Ambiance: 10/10
Best Mexican restaurant in Twin Hands down. Sure there isn't much ambiance but hey this is REAL Mexican food. Great food great service always a pleasure.

Chevaliers has quickly become my go to Mexican restaurant for Twin Falls period authentic Mexican food at a reasonable cost.
I showed up right when they opened, ordered a big meal, and got fresh tortillas at 9 am! I thought about those tortillas all day.
Great place to pick up some legit Mexican plates at a good price. It's also a market, which is handy if you want to pick up some carne or marinated meat to cook for dinner. Dine-in area is casual and perfect for a quick meal.
We went here the other day and ordered carne asada taco and chicken burrito. The carne was awesome but the chicken was a bit bland. The market though is awesome with great meat and fresh tortillas. I will be back to try other things but this is a legit Mexican market.
I don't love the broken glass entryway and window held in place with clear tape, but I enjoy the little market, its offerings and the carnitas are the best we've had since living in Cali. They are made the traditional way...full flavored, fatty, moist and with solid caramelization. They are forking delicious. That alone is worth coming here. Tacos are decent too...although my birria was a let down and the enchiladas are dry, but who cares. Real carnitas!

Twin Falls is becoming a hotbed of Mexican food, apparently and this is the sort of store you see a lot, if you travel in the right circles. It is a small grocery store/carniceria, also featuring a variety of imported snacks and Mexico-versions of sodas, a small prepaid cell phone counter and a little restaurant tucked to the side. All of this is very cool, but that restaurant...wow. It's a place that is always what we seek, both authentic and fantastically delicious, everything, all of it. I've been on a really good streak of having luck with Mexican places in Twin Falls the last few times and I really hope the town rallies around all of them and leaves the lower-tiered stuff like the Mexi-chains and the homogenized places alone and hits these up. The flavors here, the preparation, all of it, particularly on the carnitas side, was simply stunning. Drinks are a wash, unless you're going for beer or sugar, but when the food is this good, I can and will overlook that little misstep. Even the rice and bean sides are excellent. I may run out of superlatives, but I'd put this meal as the best I've had overall in Twin and probably in the top 3 of best Mexican I've had anywhere, ever. Muy fantastico!
